"I would recommend the Every Move Academy 8 Week Challenge to anyone!

Personally, I took it on because I was looking for a bit of accountability and direction and this programme provided that and more. Initially, I thought it might be difficult to stay motivated as it wasn't face to face, but Sarah checked in weekly and photos and measurements were also uploaded weekly which definitely helped with motivation.

What I loved about this programme was that it is flexible and not restrictive, as I've found others in the past to be. I was eating yummy food and still seeing results!

The workouts themselves were also really good - challenging, but in a good way! I always looked forward to them, rather than dreading them, and the ability to switch between 'home' and 'gym' workouts was especially helpful during this crazy COVID time. The website was also hugely helpful with some great recipes.

I'm really pleased with the results and I feel fitter and more in control of my fitness too - I look forward to continuing this mindset! A huge thank you to Sarah"

"I’m sooo pleased with my results from the 8 week challenge.

 

Physically, I feel a lot leaner and have lost a lot of body fat, I have abs now!! I feel stronger and so much more confident with my workouts!

I've always been interested in the gym, but with not having much free time to plan my workouts or what I should be eating, I often found myself doing a lot of guesswork. "I didn’t really know what to expect from the 8 week challenge, I thought I would lose a bit of weight that I’d probably end up putting back on, if I’m honest!

 

But the accountability of the challenge kept me on track, and I was really pleased to see my progress week on week through not only the tracking spreadsheet and weighing scales, but through the photos I took each week.

"After moving house life took over and I got a little round around the edges. I knew I wanted to push myself and the 8 week Challenge is exactly that.

Alex and Sarah give you everything you need to succeed. I had never put any importance on mobility but now I’m a convert. I start every workout with 10 minutes of stretching.

The workouts are varied and interesting! I managed to do mine in a car park behind my house with dumbbells and a mat. Usually I don’t have any issues with working out, it is my diet I struggle with. I always restrict myself of things I want and it is not sustainable over the long term.

So many recipes and suggested were shared I could have all the foods I want. I even learnt you don’t have to eat a full bag of crisps at once! I am in Canada which is 8 hour behind the UK, I still felt I had so much support.

Any of my concerns or questions were looked into as quickly as they could and normally resolved the same day. I couldn’t recommend these programs more and are a great way to educate yourself more about sustainable fitness."

"I have loved the journey on the 8 Week Challenge! I had a bodyweight target in mind from the start and I achieved it on the last check in which really amazed me! I have always wanted to be more toned and lose Boyd fat, and now I am so pleased with the definition in my arms and quads (I have never seen this before).

 

I have a sedentary job, so I would make sure I went for a morning walk or did a workout prior to starting work every day. My job requires me to work a lot of out of hours, so often I have to prioritise recovery and sleep- however my approach to this is so much healthier now. There was a time previously were I would have beat myself up for missing a workout or my steps.

 

The 8 week challenge made me feel in control of all the other factors so I still felt ‘on track’! The proof is in the results, I know results com from being consistent and patient. I am going to continue my healthy lifestyle now as I 100% trust you both. I have a healthier mindset to this lifestyle now that I never did.

 

Not as much guilt but still as much drive! I genuinely enjoy eating ‘healthy’, don’t get me wrong I love the odd takeaway and drink every now and again, but the feeling of smashing workouts and fueling your body right makes me thirsty for success and results! I love the flexibility to still enjoy everything in life and still see great results."

My time as part of Every Move Academy has been fantastic.

 

When I joined, I was unhappy with my progress in the gym, and found it hard to maintain a balanced diet. I didn’t want to make this worse over lockdown, so decided to give the academy a go.

 

The support of Alex, Sarah and the other members kept me motivated throughout, and continue to do so now the gyms have reopened.

 

My confidence in the gym has increased drastically, and I feel comfortable trying any exercise Alex chucks at me. The extra resources have been great, and the recipes are healthy and easy to make!

I trained with Alex for a few months and can honestly say he's completely changed my attitude towards food and educated me beyond expectation.

"I did the 8 week challenge as a last booster to keep me motivated for the end of 2020.

 

I loved the set up of having both gym and home work outs available! I’ve really enjoyed having a challenge of 5 workouts a week as I normally only do 3-4 a week. I have really seen and felt the difference.

 

Being small, I have always been put on very low calories when I have been with other coaches and have never been able to sustain it. Sarah understand me when i explained to her how hard it is to stick to a diet of 1000-1200 calories a day.

 

I was eating more on her plan and seeing better results. I never felt hungry. The extra couple of hundred calories really make a difference in terms of maintaining it long term and I’m able to have sweet treats and feel restricted. I feel confident I can continue post the challenge to see great long term results."

“Previously, I was trying to lose weight for all the wrong reasons. My own restrictions even resulted in me being in hospital. It took me a while to have confidence to try new things with my nutrition.

 

I wanted to change my body composition but my mindset only new to do this through excessive running and under eating. I used to  worry about going out with friends because it would mess up my schedule.

 

However, Sarah has helped me to learn that I can still have this goal and also be sociable but most importantly doing it correctly and staying healthy.
