Have you ever...
Lost your DRIVE?
Lost your DESIRE?
Lost your MOTIVATION?
Me too...So has EVERYONE!
Heres how to REIGNITE your FIRE when we do experience dips in motivation🔥
Reconnect with your WHY ❓❓❓
Remember why you started, what was your initial driving force? Whether that reason is self-improvement, performance, competition, body image or becoming the best version of you - tap back into your PURPOSE!
Switch up your TRAINING STYLE 🏋️♀️🏃♀️
If lacking motivation - monotony can KILL! Take a short break from your training style and try something new - sign yourself up to some fresh challenges 👊
For example, post-hyrox race I like to jump back into some crossfit classes and run some trails where I am not worried and looking at pace! Find your outlet that can re-ignite that drive!
Focus on small WINS 🏆
Progress is not always about personal bests (PBs). Celebrate small wins such as consistency, technique improvement or even simply showing up on bad days! After all, its these SMALL wins that lead to achieving bigger wins!
Prioritise REST & RECOVERY 🛏️🥗
Sometimes a motivation dip can be BURNOUT in disguise. Give yourself permission to recharge! Both your body and mind will thank you.
VISUALISE Success ✅
Picture yourself SMASHING your goals...Picture and imagine how that WILL make you feel. Whether that goal is simply crossing the finish line, running your first 5km, competing in your first fitness event or finally feeling comfortable to train in a sports bra! Mental reps can be just as POWERFUL as physical ones!
Motivation comes and goes...Its DISCIPLINE that keeps you moving forward🔥
I will leave you with a favourite quote of mine from one of the greats:
"There is no way around hard work - embrace it"
Roger Federer
