Goals Crushed? How to Keep Climbing...

Have you recently smashed a big goal?
Completed a race?
Hit a big PR?
Have you been working towards a goal that is now SMASHED?
Has this left you feeling like 'What now?'
If so, firstly take a moment to be proud of that WIN!
Now, let’s talk about what’s next...
It’s completely normal to feel a dip in motivation after achieving a big goal. That “what now?” feeling can quietly lead to a lull if we’re not intentional about what comes next. So here’s how to stay energised and keep the MOMENTUM going:
1. Reflect on Your Why
What inspired your last goal? Has it shifted? Your motivation doesn’t have to stay the same..it just needs to be YOURS!
2. Set a Fresh Goal (Big or Small)
Goals don’t always have to be massive. Sometimes the next best step is refining what you’ve already built;
Is that better mobility?
Improved recovery?
More reps?
Or simply staying consistent through a busy season?
3. Focus on a New Area
Are you getting tired and bored of the same style of training? has this affected motivation now that the goal is achieved?
For example, if you have just crushed a strength goal? Maybe it’s time to explore endurance or flexibility.
Shifting your focus can reignite that fire.
4. Remember: Progress Isn’t Always Linear
Some phases are about PUSHING, others are about Mastering. Staying active and engaged, even without a high-stakes goal - is still progress.
If you’re not sure what to aim for next, don’t worry, that’s what we are here for.
