Do you ever feel like no matter how much sleep you get, you’re still running on empty?
You're not alone in this! “I’m always tired” is something we all hear often, and I’ve felt it too...
The truth is, fatigue IS NOT always about sleep. It’s often about how we FUEL and MOVE our bodies.
Let’s take a closer look...
Why You Might Always Feel Tired?
Poor Nutrition: If you're skipping meals, eating too few calories, or loading up on processed carbs and sugar, your energy levels will CRASH and crash FAST!
Lack of Movement: This may seem backwards! But regular training gives you MORE energy, not less!
Overtraining or Under-recovering: On the flip side, too much INTENSE training without enough rest or proper nutrition can drain your body and lead to burnout!
Inconsistent Sleep & Stress: High stress and poor sleep habits negatively impact your recovery and can affect your nervous system!
How Training & Nutrition Can Fix It:
Lets bring BALANCE back!
Eat Balanced & Eat Enough
Focus on meals with lean protein, complex carbs, healthy fats, and lots of colour (fruit & vegetables). Fuel your body before and after workouts correctly! This is when energy demands are highest!
Train Smart, Not Just Hard
A good training regime should energise you, not exhaust you. We’ll focus on strength, mobility, and recovery just as much as intensity at the EMA!
Prioritise Recovery
Sleep 7–9 hours per night, hydrate well, and take your rest days seriously. Remember: growth and energy happen OUTSIDE the gym too!
Listen to Your Body
Constant fatigue is a sign something needs adjusting..It is NOT normal to ALWAYS be fatigued! Fatigue is NOT a sign of progress and is NOT a sign of working hard!
If you're feeling drained, don't ignore it. Your energy is your foundation! With the right training and nutrition strategy, we can take control back!
